2. Nature of Finauthority
Finauthority is an independent information, research, directory and review platform focused on financial companies and financial-service brands operating internationally.
Depending on the company or service concerned, Finauthority may research and present information relating to:
- brokers and trading platforms;
- investment companies;
- asset and wealth-management businesses;
- crypto exchanges and digital-asset platforms;
- payment providers;
- money-transfer businesses;
- financial technology companies;
- lending and credit businesses;
- financial intermediaries;
- insurance-related businesses;
- other financial-service providers; and
- financial regulators and supervisory authorities.
The Platform is intended to help users conduct better-informed research.
Finauthority does not operate the financial companies listed on the Platform and does not control their services.
3. International Scope
Finauthority is operated from the Czech Republic and European Union but is designed as an international platform.
The Platform may contain information about:
- companies located anywhere in the world;
- international financial brands;
- national and regional regulators;
- offshore jurisdictions;
- cross-border financial services;
- regulatory warnings from different countries; and
- users located in multiple jurisdictions.
The inclusion of a company, regulator or jurisdiction on Finauthority does not imply that its products or services are legally available in every country.
Users remain responsible for determining whether a particular financial product or service is legally available or appropriate in their jurisdiction.
4. Independent Platform
Finauthority operates independently from the companies and financial brands listed on the Platform.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Finauthority is not owned, operated, controlled or authorized by any:
- bank;
- broker;
- investment company;
- cryptocurrency exchange;
- payment provider;
- financial institution;
- financial regulator;
- government ministry;
- supervisory authority; or
- other company appearing on the Platform.
References to companies, regulators, government authorities or other organizations are made for informational, research, identification or reporting purposes.
5. No Government or Regulatory Affiliation
Finauthority is not a government authority or financial regulator.
Finauthority does not issue:
- financial licenses;
- regulatory authorizations;
- registrations;
- permissions to provide financial services;
- enforcement decisions;
- regulatory sanctions; or
- official regulatory certifications.
References to regulators and public authorities are based on independent research and publicly available information.
The presence of the name, logo or information relating to a regulator on Finauthority does not imply that the regulator endorses, sponsors or operates Finauthority.
Users seeking an official regulatory determination should consult the relevant authority directly.
6. No Endorsement of Listed Companies
The inclusion of a financial company or brand in the Finauthority database does not constitute:
- approval by Finauthority;
- endorsement;
- certification;
- investment recommendation;
- confirmation that the company is safe;
- confirmation that funds deposited with the company are protected;
- confirmation that the company will meet its contractual obligations; or
- a guarantee regarding future conduct or performance.
Finauthority may maintain profiles for regulated, unregulated, inactive, disputed, warned-against or otherwise relevant financial companies.
The purpose of inclusion is to provide information, not to recommend every company contained in the database.
7. Regulatory Information
Finauthority may research and publish information regarding the regulatory status of financial companies.
This may include:
- regulator names;
- license numbers;
- registration numbers;
- licensed legal entities;
- authorized activities;
- jurisdictions;
- official warnings;
- restrictions;
- enforcement information;
- historical regulatory information; and
- other relevant records.
Where possible, our research prioritizes primary and authoritative sources, including official regulatory databases and public registers.
However, regulatory information can change.
A company may:
- obtain a new license;
- lose authorization;
- change legal entity;
- change trading name;
- change website domain;
- alter the services it provides;
- become subject to restrictions; or
- become the subject of a new regulatory warning.
Users should therefore verify important regulatory information directly with the relevant regulator before making a financial decision.
8. Regulatory Classifications
Finauthority may use classifications or labels such as:
- Regulated;
- Licensed;
- Registered;
- Unregulated;
- Offshore;
- License Not Verified;
- Regulatory Warning;
- Claimed Profile;
- Verified Company Information;
- Evidence Reviewed; or
- similar descriptors.
These labels have the meanings defined by Finauthority’s published methodology and should be interpreted in that context.
For example, describing a company as Unregulated does not automatically mean that the company is fraudulent.
Similarly, describing a company as Regulated does not guarantee that the company is financially safe or suitable for a particular user.
Further information is available in our Research and Rating Methodology.
9. Company Review and Verification Requests
Users, researchers and company representatives may submit companies or financial brands for review by Finauthority.
Requests concerning:
- a company that should be analyzed;
- questionable regulatory claims;
- an apparently unauthorized financial service;
- a possible clone company;
- conflicting company information;
- a potentially misleading license claim;
- a suspicious financial brand; or
- other legitimacy or verification concerns
may be submitted to:
The appropriate description for this service is:
Company Review & Verification
Submitting a company for review does not guarantee that Finauthority will reach a particular conclusion or classification.
Our assessment is based on the information and evidence reasonably available to our researchers.
10. Claimed Company Profiles
Financial companies may be able to create a new company profile or claim an existing listing.
A claimed profile means that an individual or organization has successfully completed the relevant process to demonstrate sufficient authority to manage permitted portions of the profile.
A Claimed Profile does not mean that:
- the company has been approved by Finauthority;
- the company is regulated;
- its license has been independently verified;
- the company is recommended by Finauthority; or
- Finauthority guarantees the company’s services.
Company ownership of a profile and Finauthority’s independent editorial assessment are separate matters.
11. Company-Provided Information
Companies may provide information concerning their:
- business;
- legal entity;
- services;
- management;
- website;
- regulatory status;
- licenses;
- offices;
- contact details; and
- other relevant information.
Where appropriate, information may be labeled to distinguish its source.
Examples include:
Provided by the Company
Verified by Finauthority
Verification Pending
Not Independently Verified
Finauthority is not required to accept a company’s regulatory or factual claim merely because the company submitted it.
12. Editorial Responsibility
Finauthority is responsible for editorial content created and published by its research and editorial team.
Our editorial work may include:
- company profiles;
- regulatory analyses;
- financial-company reviews;
- risk assessments;
- regulatory summaries;
- guides;
- comparisons;
- warning-related content;
- research reports; and
- educational resources.
Editorial conclusions represent Finauthority’s assessment based on the evidence and information reasonably available at the time of publication.
Commercial relationships do not determine our regulatory classifications or editorial conclusions.
Further information is available in our Editorial Standards and Independence Policy.
13. Research Standards
Finauthority aims to conduct financial-company research carefully, impartially and using verifiable information.
Depending on the subject, research may include examination of:
- regulator databases;
- government records;
- company registers;
- company websites;
- legal documents;
- terms and conditions;
- privacy policies;
- client agreements;
- official warnings;
- enforcement notices;
- archived website information;
- corporate disclosures;
- publicly available ownership information;
- reliable publications;
- user evidence; and
- information provided directly by companies.
The weight assigned to individual sources depends on their relevance, reliability and authority.
Primary official sources generally receive greater evidentiary weight than unsupported promotional statements or anonymous claims.
14. User Reviews
Finauthority may host reviews and ratings submitted by users.
User reviews represent the experiences, opinions or claims of their respective authors unless expressly stated otherwise.
Publication of a review does not necessarily mean that Finauthority independently confirms every statement contained in that review.
Where material allegations are made, Finauthority may:
- request supporting documentation;
- verify identity or transaction-related information;
- investigate suspicious submissions;
- ask the reviewer for clarification;
- offer the company an opportunity to respond;
- add contextual information;
- restrict publication; or
- remove content where appropriate.
Further information is available in our User Review and Evidence Policy.
15. Evidence-Based Review System
Finauthority aims to distinguish genuine financial experiences from fabricated, manipulated or promotional reviews.
Depending on the circumstances, reviewers may be asked to provide evidence such as:
- correspondence;
- transaction confirmations;
- withdrawal requests;
- payment records;
- account notices;
- contracts;
- screenshots;
- complaint correspondence; or
- regulatory correspondence.
Supporting evidence is generally used for verification and moderation purposes and is not automatically made public.
A label indicating that evidence was reviewed does not necessarily establish every allegation contained in a review as an independently proven fact.
16. Right of Reply and Corrections
Finauthority recognizes that financial-company information may be disputed or change over time.
Companies and affected persons may submit:
- factual corrections;
- updated regulatory documents;
- evidence;
- clarifications;
- responses to reviews; or
- formal rights of reply.
Finauthority evaluates correction requests based on evidence.
We will not knowingly retain materially inaccurate information after reliable evidence demonstrates that a correction is justified.
At the same time, unfavorable information will not be removed merely because a company disagrees with it.
Further procedures are described in our Corrections, Complaints and Right of Reply Policy.
17. Accuracy and Updates
Finauthority makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and useful information.
However, the financial industry changes rapidly.
Information appearing on the Platform may become outdated because of events occurring after our most recent review.
Where relevant, company profiles may display information such as:
Last Reviewed
Last Regulatory Check
These dates indicate when the relevant assessment was performed.
They do not guarantee that no changes occurred afterward.
Users who identify potentially outdated or incorrect information may contact Finauthority.
18. No Financial Advice
Finauthority provides information and research.
Nothing published on Finauthority constitutes personalized:
- financial advice;
- investment advice;
- trading advice;
- tax advice;
- legal advice;
- credit advice; or
- recommendation to buy, sell, invest, deposit or transfer funds.
Users remain responsible for their own decisions.
Financial products may involve substantial risk, including loss of capital.
Users should independently conduct due diligence and obtain qualified professional advice where appropriate.
Further information is provided in our Financial and Regulatory Disclaimer.
19. No Fund-Recovery Service
Finauthority is not a fund-recovery company.
We do not guarantee that money lost through:
- a broker;
- investment platform;
- cryptocurrency exchange;
- fraudulent scheme;
- payment provider; or
- other financial service
can be recovered.
Users should be particularly cautious of third parties claiming that they can recover lost funds in exchange for advance payments or additional transfers.
Any reference on Finauthority to complaints, disputes or recovery options is provided for informational purposes.
20. Advertising and Commercial Relationships
Finauthority may generate revenue through commercial services such as:
- advertising;
- sponsored placements;
- premium company features;
- affiliate relationships;
- business services; or
- other clearly identified commercial arrangements.
Commercial content should be distinguishable from independent editorial content where required.
A commercial relationship does not permit a company to purchase:
- a favorable regulatory classification;
- removal of a verified regulatory warning;
- suppression of legitimate user criticism;
- deletion of substantiated negative information;
- a favorable editorial conclusion; or
- access to confidential review evidence without an independent lawful basis.
Further information is available in our Advertising, Affiliate and Conflict of Interest Disclosure.
21. Conflicts of Interest
Finauthority seeks to identify and appropriately manage conflicts of interest that could affect independent research.
Where a significant conflict exists, appropriate measures may include:
- disclosure;
- separation between commercial and editorial functions;
- reassignment of research responsibility;
- independent review; or
- other proportionate safeguards.
Our editorial conclusions should be based on evidence rather than commercial relationships.
22. Third-Party Names, Logos and Trademarks
Finauthority may display:
- company names;
- trading names;
- regulator names;
- logos;
- trademarks;
- product names; and
- other identifying material
for informational, identification, research, comparison or reporting purposes.
All third-party trademarks and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
Their appearance on Finauthority does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership or affiliation unless expressly stated.

25. Official Regulatory Sources
Where possible, Finauthority encourages users to consult the original website or register of the relevant financial authority.
Information reproduced or summarized from an official source should not replace the original regulatory document.
Where there is a material discrepancy between a Finauthority summary and a current official record, the original official record should be treated as authoritative.
